I just opened my Blogger dashboard this morning only to see that I now have 300 followers!! Wow! I didn't see that coming! It's awesome :D

So, for a while I've been thinking about doing some sort of nail art contest.. And now I kind of have to! haha.. Since I have ambivalent feelings about giveaways I know that's off the table.. But I still feel like everybody should have a chance.. So I've been thinking about a nail art contest, where the nail design gives you an entry for the 'giveaway' and that's it! Then it's a random winner and everybody can participate without thinking 'Oh I won't be able to do anything nice enough'... What do you think about that idea? Do you have any other ideas?

I'm busy atm, so I'm behind on answering comments. And reading blog posts! But I have some scheduled posts this weekend so I won't seem disappear completely :)

DeleteWell now who goes around following and then unfollowing blogs?! How odd. It's okay, I just found your blog and now I'm following you, so you're back in 300 again! ; ) Like your nail art! It's so fun and pretty! I don't know that I would enter a nail art contest... even if it is just based on randomness and not "talent" (I'm too scared to post nail pictures, I've tried, they always look so awful to me)! But, I do still agree that's it's a really good idea. And taking the part out of it about having to have the BEST nail art to win will definitely motivate a lot more people to enter (I would think anyway) or maybe a "submit your favorite nail picture"! As my nail "art" goes about as far as layering. ; ) Whatever you do I'm sure people will have fun with it and appreciate it! Congrats!

DeleteCongrats on 300! A contest sounds super exciting! I'm thinking of doing one myself sometime soon and may have to steal your idea of doing a random winner so everyone feels like they can participate... can't wait to see what you have in store for us!
